Dale Boyle

Dale Boyle is a Gaspé born, Montreal-based award-winning roots singer-songwriter. He has been called "One of the best to emerge from north of the border" (Americana Homeplace) and "an accomplished musician, a fine singer, and an exceptionally thoughtful, meticulous songwriter" (CanadianBlues.ca). Dale's album releases (In My Rearview Mirror and Small Town van Gogh) have been described as "Direct, poignant folk, country and blues" (The Hour).

He has performed his songs in documentary films including CBC ENJEUX's Le Mystère Coffin and Silver Rivers Productions' The Science Of Art and his music is included in the audio version of Daniel Levitin's best selling book, The World in Six Songs. His song "Crack In The Pavement" was covered by Bob Walsh for the album, "Inside I Am All Blue," and "Slips Away" (co-written with Rob Lutes) appears on Lutes' "Truth and Fiction" release.

Dale is also the founder of Song Routes (SongRoutes.com), an online magazine that explores the art of songwriting through feature interviews with established songwriters, producers, authors, etc.
